Chief Nursing Officer

Chief Nursing Officer Carol McConn brings more than 20 years of experience in nursing administration to Physicians Regional Healthcare System.  She currently serves as the chief nursing officer for Physicians Regional Medical Center-Pine Ridge and was previously the chief nursing executive for Cleveland Clinic Florida.

Ms. McConn began her nursing career in the emergency department of several Ohio hospitals, including The Jewish Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio where she also served as nursing director of outpatient services and assistant vice president of nursing.  Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic Florida in Naples, she worked as the assistant vice president of nursing for Naples Community Hospital for three years and the vice president/chief nurse executive for NCH Healthcare System for five years.

Ms. McConn has a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and a Bachelor of Science in Management of Nursing Services from the College of Mt. St. Joseph in Cincinnati, Ohio.  In addition, she completed the R.N. program at Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio.

She is a member of the American Organization of Nurse Executives, and serves the local Naples community as a board member with the American Heart Association and a volunteer at the Neighborhood Health Clinic.
