David J. Kreye
Chief Executive Officer
David Kreye brings more than 15 years of experience in health care administration to Physicians Regional Healthcare System. He relocated to Naples in September 2008 to join Physicians Regional Medical Center–Collier Boulevard as chief executive officer.
Mr. Kreye’s career began at Charlotte Regional Medical Center, an HMA hospital in Punta Gorda, Florida where he worked for three years as the assistant administrator. He then served as chief executive officer of Charlotte Heart and Vascular Institute in Port Charlotte, Florida and held several leadership positions with Essent Healthcare, Inc., including: chief operating officer of Nashoba Valley Medical Center in Ayer, Massachusetts, chief operating officer of Paris Regional Medical Center in Paris, Texas and chief executive officer of Southwest Regional Medical Center, Waynesburg, Pennsylvania.
Prior to joining Physicians Regional Healthcare System, he was the chief operating officer at Vanguard Health Systems-North Central Baptist Hospital, a 268-bed facility in San Antonio, Texas. As chief executive officer of the Collier Boulevard campus, Mr. Kreye is directly responsible for the day to day operations and continued growth of the 100-bed hospital and its service lines.
Mr. Kreye received a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration at the University of Milwaukee in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and an MBA from the University of St. Francis.
